As I understand it, infinity focus is not really a problem with crop-sensor canon bodies, it is the full frame bodies where you are more likely to run into problems with the (larger) mirror, so you couldn't say for sure that because a 35mm lens works OK on a crop sensor it will also work on a full-frame sensor. They are not comparable. _________________ View or buy my photos at:

Assuming an Exakta lens and that the rear lens element does not hit the mirror, there should not be an infinite focus issue for both crop and FF bodies. _________________ No longer member , please don't try to contact to him |

I got one of these adapters (with chip) from alex alnd it works fine, even on infinity issue.
I use 2 topcor lenses (50mm F1.4 and 200mm F5.6) with 350D/400D body.
The only con is the little screw on the back of the adapter, that I have to pinch every time I want to change lens.
