Gentlemen, what is the real value of Carl Zeiss Fernobjektiv 500 mm F8? I´m asking because there are few on ebay varying from cca 500 dollars to 2500 dollars. I know it is rare piece, but in case I would like to bid on any of these what should be the limit?

Who knows it's popping up once a year on Ebay. I found in my db a few lines they went around 200 EUR, I did purchase mine locally for this price too.
