Hi there -- this is just a small idea - I have never done this before ..

I am doing on a lens which has an extremely long aperture lever and I has to keep the rear FD -- well partially turned off..

the surface is not finished yet. I decided to get rid of the paint and now the alu finish is quite in high contrast with the black EF mount..

1 - original EF mount

2 - the inner part is turned off

3 - the original FD rear part (both levers are fully moving)

4 - fitting the FD into EF mount

5 - both together - the gap is almost zero -- quite big force has to be applied

6 - check against the light...

And the lens is ... OK -- later on Wink

I have a gut feeling the lens is a 50 or 55mm f/1.2 Razz

Btw, I am seriously jealous of the machinery in the background.

Thanks Vilhelm ..

I like the machine a lot ... especially chucks Wink

the lens is neither 55 nor 50 f1.2 -- this one is little bit 'cheaper' guy but also very very 'gut' Wink
