Has a rather interesting signature, bet it would be great for B&W portraits.

Yes I bought exactly for that.

Today try, stopped down from F2 to F8 , CA is visible , but I like color rendering, bokeh and sharpness.
Due long rear part I had to use longer extension ring, I am plan to cut this long part to make a perfectly usable lens.
Adapter has aperture blades they cause vignetting , have to crop a bit pictures later once lens is modified.

Agree, like #2 of BW 'Darken Contrast' and the color ones.

And #1 BW Orange filter is very nice, too.

I like Orange filter best and color ones, color ones has I think nice character , not looks like a normal photographic lens, something different.

CA is |i]mostly[/i] not a problem when converting to B/W. I think this is a classical example of a lens where technical image quality is modest, but the artistical value is great. So many lenses fit that category.

That's stunning, converting to BW solves the CA issue and the lens really draws beautifully, well done!

Yes, beautiful treatment.
Other photos in color are beautiful too.

Flair in the bottom right was in portrait mode, so it may be the bottom left or upside right in landscape mode.

Should it be a linkage in the adaptive aperture adapter happening when you close the diaph at certain apertures ?
Or a linkage due to tiny hole in the rotating pin system ?
