I just received this lens, I already have a 35mm c-mount Fujian so I took it off and put this Cosmicar on the m4/3 adapter. I can't seem to get focus unless I get close to the object/subject. Any reason for this? is it broken?

Most of these will be c mount so they should focus on infinity. ('Surprised')

If it is cs mount, it will not do so! Crying or Very sad

It may have a 5mm spacer on the screw. Take it off and enjoy infinite photography!('Razz')

The usual reason is that the width of the back part of the lens casing is too wide for your adapter. A common fault and rectifiable with a wider adapter. No ideas on which is the widest, sorry! Also rectifiable by filing it down while protecting the lens glass with taped cotton etc.
