Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy The most of you guys already know, this is only for new comers. Laughing

Left lower corner lens (in the above photo) with hood + camera

Two of them have installed Alex's M42->EF mount adapters, which has
1.4 mm or less thickness but somehow infinity is just right on for some,
Pancolar 80 goes beyond infinity though, it depends on the lenses.
New adapters also look sexy too, have sort of non shiny treatment.

Wow, looks good.

I also noticed that you have the Distagon 2.8/35. Do you have any comparative comments between the CZJ 2.4/35 (or CZJ Zebra 2.8/35) and Distagon 2.8/35? I should have asked you this before I paypalled the seller for the Distagon. Oh well. It was for a scratched unit anyway.

Thanks

Bawang,

I have never compared the both together at the same time, so
no comment about the comparison. D35/2.8 is a nice lens, but
FLektogon 35/2.4 is more versatile, also Yashica ML 35/2.8 is
better lens than D35/2.8 IMHO. And Minolta MD 35/2.8 is also good too.

My pick is Flek 35/2.4 for SLR among them.

(But I have Distagon T* 35/2 ZF, which is a superb lens!! And my personal
preference goes to Contax G-Planar 35/2 somehow, even though it has not
a good reputation. But there is super CV NOKTON 35/1.2, it is VERY good.)

So there is no BEST one. Very Happy Laughing

Thank Koji.

After my experience with Yashica ML 2.8/28, I can't dispute that. The ML line is very good, but hard to come by on the 'bay except for the 50mm. Don't know if this is Tomioka or not, I have an older Yashinon DX 32.8/35 but not as good as others that I have though.

I see no difference between Planar 85mm and Pancolar or Pancolar 80 even better I think. Nice to see these great lenses in action.

Is that true also about the bokeh quality at full open?? Because I'm also in the market for a good 85 Wink

I did tested plenty of 85mm lenses you can see them here.
Almost any 85mm lens has nice bokeh at wide open.

Bokeh from this lens(80/1.8 ) is nice, this shot is not at wide open thou.

Ahh! I wish I have a Pancolar 1.8/80...

HI Koji!!

Your lenses are very good, endeed the showed and the not too.

Very pleasant the bokeh of the 1,8/80. (my dream lens - and the thin biotar 1,5/75 *1951-1953* too- Attila, you are the responsable -).

But not forget the fantastic 1,8/50 pancolar.

Nice colors, bokeh and better, for me, than planar 1,7/50.

Perhaps with subjects like the 1,8/80 you can appreciate his quality. The statues are subject difficult and they lack defined details generally . Anyway, the pic is nice, well composed, it's a beuaty.

Rino.
