OOOO HELL! Now I'm excited, man! I've been testing my two first manual lenses an results amazed me (I was well aware of what quality should I expect thanks to you, but wow! this is amazing).

Results are the following (no photoshop, no raw, jpg straight from the camera):

Planar 50/1.7 (Absolutely no CA, tack sharp!, exquisite bokeh)

Crop 100%

Crop 100%

Crop 100%

Distagon 28/2.8 (no CA at all, sharp, vivid colours) (it stucks or somethign at infinity, but turning focus lower than infinity the mirror comes up again Very Happy, is that dangerous?)

Crop 100%

Crop 100%

(look to these colours Very Happy, this is REAL)

By the way, I've mounted an Ee-S to my 5D and I don't see any big difference, is that normal? Thx for stopping by Very Happy.

Very nice samples Smile
The EE-S is much better for manual focus, the sharpness pops into the viewfinder very fast, but at f4 it's pretty dark and at f8 unuseable

Take care of your 28, the mirror might scratch the glass Sad. It happened to me.

Hahaha! Thx for you replies! I will be careful with my 28... but to achieve infinity focus, my only solution is to shave mirror right? And that is really scary.

It's not so scary, you just need patience Smile

Can't wait to see nice photographs from your town/country.
