Have someone heard something about this lens?I just bought this lens,and i'm wondering whether to keep or not.I,ve googled about it,but i did't find something useful.Please give me some advises.Thanks.

Hi can you provide photos? What mount is it in?

Sounds like one of those Carl Zeiss Jena branded lenses which was actually made by some third party manufacturer in Japan / Korea.

I have one of those CZJ made in japan in MD mount. Unfortunatly I can't help you, I never tried it....

Carl Zeiss Jena branded Japanese zoom lenses usually good average quality lenses , try it out first.

A pro seller of lenses, great collector and great photographer, told me it was a very good lens ;
As I was a little skeptic, he took a picture of me with it and wanted to show me the result on the rear screen... Wink
All these japanese lenses made under license form VEB CARL ZEISS JENA are good, he said with a great conviction.
Well, as I have a great respect for his opinion, I kept that in mind, but these are words, and you have to produce your own tests.
I'm pretty sure the results won't be bad, but how good in comparison of the Tamy SP 3.-5.4 60-300mm is the point.
