Nice lens, if you decide to sell it, it's probably worth several times the cost of a Canon FD 1.4/50 due to being in C mount and good fast C mount lenses are sought after now by the digital video crowd.

I don't tend to sell the lenses I like and these various Canon lenses I am starting to like a lot. Very Happy I did buy it to try it with the video feature of the k-01.

I highly recommend the Fujinon-TV C mounts. The 1.7/35, 1.4/50 and 1.8/75 cover APS-C, sadly the 1.4/25 only covers m4/3. The IQ of these Fujinons is stunning, razor sharp at all aperture settings.

I don't think any of the 25mm c mounts cover APS-C, the Schneider Xenoplan 1.9/25 doesn't and it has probably the largest coverage of the 25mms.

I support that. The Fujinons are stunning, but i never had the 50mm and doubt that it is better than this Canon. Maybe just as good, but not better Wink

(The Fujinon 75mm f/1.8 is the best C-mount 75mm I´ve had and I bought it thanks to Ians samples)
