Hi everyone,
I used this lens for my old FD canon and for a samsung via adapter. Unfortunately, it fell down 1m on solid street ground - it released from adapter Crying or Very sad. Luckily it didn't shatter the glasses but all mechanical parts were useless. So I asked Trifox to fix it. And he DID! Now I can use it on my 7D and samsung. With a little mirror shave it should work on fullframe too. But I'm happy even with 7D. Look at these test shots wide open.

This is why I use Novoflex or Voigtlander adapters when possible. I don't trust the cheaper ones with expensive and/or heavy lenses. Lovely IQ and cat btw Smile

Hi phoeniks

one of the best balanced FD 85 f1.2 L I have ever handled Wink Shocked

I am glad you've received the package Smile !

I've taken also a few samples EXACTLY WITH THIS lens and wide open.

I must say that I was really successful with the balancing of the rear glass to the entire lens group.

Superb copy! One of the best! Good luck...

both pictures taken @ f1.2 Canon 5DMarkII, LightRoom

oh! If any problem, give me a shout, of course !...

tf

thx. I've just tried it on 5DII without mirror shave. And guess what. If you enable life view before you put the lens on, it works just fine Smile So there is one more cat (name is Shanti BTW) - from FF this time. Again f1.2

Great shots, beautiful cat! Congrats on a successful restoration.

Interesting name for a cat. Is she like her name?

Good to hear it could be fixed, well done trifox!
Makes me wish my EF 85LII was manual focus(or at least not focus by wire).
