Canon FD 50mm macro lens. Can do 1:2 macro and 1:1 with extension ring. I like this lens, well build, feels solid. It is the sharpest lens i have now, even open wide i don't even need to apply additional sharp on 24mp 1.5x crop sensor. Comparing to Vivitar 55/2.8 Canon also have less noticeable CA. I'm using it also for making gear-photos like this:

Wow, those are some very nice shots. I owned a nFD 50/3.5 for years and always loved the sharpness, saturation, and contrast I got with that lens. These days, I own a nFD 100/4 and a brace of Nikkor 55/3.5s so I haven't gotten around yet to picking up another one. I should, though. Your photos remind me all over again just how nice that lens is. _________________ Michael

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, just take another shot. |
