Hi there,

I am going to Romania via Budapet in July to teach photography to some kids who live in a very rural area, I need to get hold of some photographic chemicals when I arrive in budapest, does anyone have any information on any second hand camera shops who are likely to sell chemicals? (or even new camera shops but probably less likely to sell the chemicals).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, without the chemicals the project cannot happen!
Thankyou!

Hi,
I know a Soosfoto shop: http://soosfoto.hu/webshop.php . Its address is on the website's banner. There are FOMA and Ilford manufactured chemicals. If you need a favourite one, tell me I can search for you where can find.

I need to get a budget sorted out before I come over!

Hey thanks for that link, however although I can search in english the product names stay in hungarian, is : ILFORD PQ UNIVERSAL 1L developer? the fix is called fix so thats easy, but what is stop in hungarian? I'm so sorry to keep asking, but I really need to figure this out!

Also the prices are like this: "2.100,00" does that mean 2100 Ft?

Stop bath: stopfürdő in Hungarian. I also can not find Ilford stopbath on that site but you can have an alternative one (Fomadon)
2.100,00 = 2100 Smile
