Following on from the Soviet Heavy Artillery thread, I present another set of former USSR lenses, this time a trio of Tairs.

I've always loved the early model, and the 11A is a well-known and almost legendary lens, but the 11-2 is really a bit special. They didn't make a huge amount of this version, and I'm very lucky to own one. I have a very generous forum member to thank for giving me this privilege and pleasure Wink

L-R :: Tair-11, Tair-11-2, Tair-11A

Tair-11 :: 2,8 13,3 in M39 mount

Tair-11-2 :: 2,8 133 in M42 mount and rare black finish

Tair-11A :: 2,8 135 in M42 mount

How many variations of Tair 11 are there?

Excepted from the ones on the photo. Exist Tair-11 for large format (black finish, red P, 000) and Tair-11T for TV camera. I'm on téléphone, can't put photo, but you can see my exemplars on my site.

Never yet seen that black 11-2 beast, but it's great.

Have one silver near MINT serviced Tair-11 to sell ($190) if anyone cares.
