I talked about the Arsat 30 in the Slide Gallery, but thought I'd devote
a thread to the Arsat alone.

Here is an image from the Pentax-A 55/2.8 for reference. I
actually scanned both Provia transparencies the same way,
same settings, to at least be in the ballpark for unscientific
comparisons.

Provia scans so well, it's unbelievable. These images are not
sharpened (cropped only). Shocked

Edit change: I see that I had in-scanner sharpening set to
Low, so they WERE sharpened a little. Just wanted to be
clear.

Blues Machine
Pentax-A 55/2.8
f:8 and 1/125th
Provia

Blues Machine Arsat (Crop)
Arsat 30/3.5
f:8 and 1/250th
Provia

Adding meadows, looking down the Lost River drainage.
September colors are really showing nicely. Surprised

September Reds, Golds, and Greens
Arsat 30/3.5
f:8 and 1/250th
Provia

The owner calls the color "Light Indigo Frost".

And the owner is a female! Surprised

She indicated to me that it handles very well, in spite of the front
raking out so far. According to her, it is so comfortable that she
can put on 300 miles at a stretch without getting off the bike. She
says it's solid and powerful, and is one of the best things she has
ever owned. Good for her! Very Happy

Fun shots Laurence. We have quite a lot of bike ladies here too. That's a particularly "ladylike bike"

It seems like the Pac NW has many lady bikers, Patrick. And yes, this bike is very ladylike. I think it is very cool. I'm not much of a motorcyclist, but I would loved to have taken it for a spin.
