A while back I discovered this series of small ponds right along side some of the busiest streets in Houston, and finally paid the place a visit a couple days ago. It was late in the afternoon so light was a challenge. I brought my Yashica Mat 124 loaded with Tri-X Professional (400TX), and my Bronica ETRSi loaded with Ektar 100. I'll post pics in a separate thread for the Bronica.

The film was developed in Kodak D-76 @ 68F (20C) for 6-3/4 minutes. Scanned on an Epson 4990 @ 2400 ppi, some contrast adjustment made, no sharpness adjustments. I cropped a couple of the images just for composition reasons. I've really become a big fan of 400TX.

I love the little tree root shots (are they tree roots???)...they are like little statues.

Yes, these are cypress trees. They're called 'Buddhist Trees' in some parts of Southeast Asia.

Yeah, like little gnomes or something. Very interesting structures.
