I took out my Pentax Super-Takumar 35/3.5 because it was mentioned as a good wide-angle in http://forum.mflenses.com/my-wide-angle-lens-top-list-t9244.html this thread.

To be honest I have not used any 35mm at all because due to FOV crop it's like a 50mm but I don't like the "look."

I've noticed that it does not reach infinity on my K10D (with the flush M42 adapter) -- objects that are far away are not very sharp. I compared it to my Mir-1b (also M42) and SMC-DA 16-45/4 ED (an AF lens) and both are sharper! (the Mir-1b at f/2.8 is sharper than the Pentax at f/3.5). the Mir is extremely flare-prone though but I love the look! (never used this lens for anything...)

So how do I adjust the infinity focus on the Super-Takumar? I need to bring it maybe 0.5mm closer to the sensor plane...
