We'll see in the future what's it's proven here: the cameras comes and goes, and the fine glass remains.
10 years in the future Nex A7r will be history and the nice lenses will find another "cool" camera to shine.

[]s,

You're not alone here Wink

It will be considered obsolescent in ten years, but now that orange "35mm Full frame cmos sensor" holding those vintage beauties looks super sexy.

whaa..very neat, beautiful lenses
right on! rangefinders only, and a half frame that does well on FF too, as you showed

How about the final shooting performance?

PostPosted: Tue Dec 31, 2013 3:06 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

So far I'm liking the shooting experience with my A7r and manual lenses, but like every camera made, it's not perfect, or at least not ideal for every situation you would likely come across.
I still wish it was in the form of my NEX-7, I really enjoy handling and using it, I prefer how they did the playback on the NEX-7, much more intuitive, hopefully they fix it and a few other minor things in a firmware update.

IQ for the most part has been great with SLR lenses in particular, my FD and MC lenses are great fun, and the main reason I wanted this camera, some RF lenses can be a bit more troublesome, for those that have an exit pupil closer to the sensor there can be color shift and smearing.
I have pics in my Flickr feed if interested.

My Epson is still going fine and I still love the colours it produces. As long as the cameras work, it's all in the picture.
My Konica T3 works just fine too. Very Happy

Steinheil Cassar 2.8/45 (on the A7R that belongs to a good friend of mine.)
I have home built the barrel.
