Hi all. I joined this forum recently, and I wanted to thank everyone, especially hk300 for helping me troubleshoot the problem with my Nikon to EOS adapter.

Recently, I acquired a Nikkor-Q 135 f2.8 for $20 and a Nikkor-SC 50mm f1.4 for $70 on Ebay. Both are in excellent condition and I am very happy with the optics. The metering is a bit off, but that's no big problem.

I thought I'd share a couple of shots, one each from the two lenses. The first was taken with the 135mm on my 40D.

The second with the 50mm at f1.4. I'm realizing that getting the manual focus spot on in low light conditions at f1.4 is a skill in itself, more so with my 40D screen. I will take time to learn I guess. But here's a start. Converted to B&W along with NR and Sharpening in CS4.

- Abhi

I have a couple non-ai 1.4's.
I love the lenses. I favor them over almost all my glass.

Nice photos.
