Very nice shots! Unfortunately 2, 5 and 6 (as quoted) are reversed... I've quickly checked it to make sure and indeed, they would work very well for me, if reversed. I get what you mean by your vision being able to get the effect with parallel view arrangements as well. My eyes/brain is able of doing some of that as well, but in my case it's nowhere as effective this way and there's always something that feels off (like some things from far in the back trying to trick your eyes into thinking that they're in the foreground etc.). It's all kinda hard to explain, because our vision is so different with these kind of things. But you can assume that most people who're able to do the cross eye vision will prefer to have them arranged the same way.

Once again - my suggestion is to try and think like that: If I'm standing further to the right more of this graffity/branch/petal/whatever must be visible... if I'm standing further to the left more of it must be hidden. Go from there. It's usually right.

Anyway - great work with those shots. It's apparent that you've tried to find interesting arrangements and they do provide great depth and are fun to look at! 👍

I know this kind of effect is way overused for stereoimages, but who cares... 😉 It's fun as hell from time to time:

That floating white frame is an interesting effect.

Speckled Bush Crickets via Kiron 105mm in 2015.

The first, the female was via Stereo Photo Maker using the auto alignment.

The second, the male had some problem of differing views of the image, maybe camera rotation. SPM wanted to cut its knee off at the upper edge of the frame. I did some cropping of the images and used SPM but without the alignment, causing the dark vertical divider.

Classic Cars 8 May 2022 A7r3 with Nikkor 24mm f8.

Capturing people who don't move between stereo pairs is a nightmare! I got lucky twice.

Cadillac Coupe De Ville

Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

A somewhat popular movie once stated:
"It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you race your car"

In this case the opposite is true! 😉

Really wonderful shots, they do look great!

Thanks. The first meet of the season is this Sunday. No bookings are required so anything can turn up.

My problem is that my car is so old that I get strange looks when I drive into the spectators' car park. Sad

Leitz Elmarit 60mm 2.8 Macro on EP-2 (I can't be absolutely sure it was this lens but it probably was)

Bearded iris May 2011

nice, but why is the right image sharper? Which method do you use to make your sets? Cha-Cha?

Yes, I was aware but I find a slight difference in focus helps the effect. I could have sharpened it further. but chose not to. They are presented as a stereo pair, not as individual images. Yes, cha cha.

Dry ferns and mossy rocks. Kiron Vivitar 35mm f2.8

A chaotic nature scene in 2d can be interesting in 3d.

Works well. A principle I use quite often.

I'm just wondering how all this 3-D viewing has affected your day-to-day vision, if at all.

It can be quite interesting at traffic lights! Very Happy

On a different issue: Neither my wife not my son have stereo vision in day to day life so I have to show my stereos pairs on photo websites to share them.

@e6filmuser -- Have you exhibited prints at a local gallery yet? (hint...hint) IMHO you'd be rich afterwards!

I don't do prints. I'm not interested in making money from photography. Too much hassle!

Large Red Damselfly Kiron 105 on EM-1.

There is a small issue with a leg in the above image so here is another one but with not so good 3D:

The brownish smudge near the bottom of the high viz waistcoat is a reflexion of bricks in a mirror.

Same event, same lens and camera, cars and beer barrels.

One of the most beautiful slime moulds Ceratiomyxa porioides via Kiron 105mm Macro at f16, twin flash. FOV 17mm wide.

When we found this in a local wood in 2016 this was only the eleventh recorded British find of the species, which had been thought to be a Mediterranean species. We have found it a couple of times since.

This also occurs as a yellow form. This image is notwith an adapted lens but I though it might be of interest.
