A real stroke of luck - I bought this as a "parts" camera to repair my old VXIIb, but when it came it was obviously in much better shape. In fact, its in almost perfect condition, and it came with a mint Pancolar 50/2 and a case, also in near-perfect shape.

It does not have the later rubberized shutter like so many later Exaktas, like my old VXIIb. The only problem with it sticks while winding on 1/60, but thats easily fixed by setting the speed off 1/60 and back on again. I figure that problem may even clear up with use.

I ran a roll of film through it, and the shutter speeds seem to be on. All using the Soligor 21/3.8 -

Shocked It looks like a champ. That case is pristine aye? Nice shots too. The soligor is a pretty nice lens.
The color in the first shot is really nice.
