Some quick snaps, I still haven't found time to properly test this lens, but so far I'm liking it.
Can't Remember apertures, most should be wide open or around that.

6- Palazzo Farnese in Piacenza

It was a bit windy, so focus/steadyness was quite challenging.
In some cases some CA is visibe, wide open. Most of the times it's easily corrected via software.
In this case it wasn't corrected, just to show it[img][/img]

A question:

What's the magnification ratio of this lens, and how does it performs compared to the S-M-C/Super Macro-Takumar 50mm F4?

Thanks,

Renato

Magnification goes to 1:1.
I don't know how it performs compared to the takumar.

How does it compare to the Zeiss 60/2.8 Makro-Planar?

Same here, i never owned any other native 1:1 macro lenses for longer than some days, so I don't know how it compares with others.
Also, I'm not much a macro shooter, both for lack of interest and skills in the subject.
I really like character of this particular lens, even for non macro use, and it makes a very good portrait lens on my aps-c camera.

Very nice lens and very nice photographs. The first one of the boy is very good as is the second with the dog as well. Those macro shots are very good as well.

On a crop sensor it does indeed look like a handy lens.
