I love fish.
Yashica ML 55/2.8 loves fish too.
Do not drool over your keyboard.
First one is f/11, second one f/22.

Saumon fumé on a red onion bed, capers all over the place.

Same as above only added some salmon roe

Man, was it good?
Read my lips: DELICIOUS.
Everything helped to slide down with some chilean cabernet named Casillero del Diablo.

That looks delicious! But what a lot of capres, never tried that.
I think I would choose for a white wine to support the dish.
The IQ looks better than my first testresults with a Sigma XQ 55/2.8.

Thank you guys!
Much appreciated!
As for the white wine, I don`t drink white wine.
I luuuve cabernet. The order is, chilean ones, and then would be a J.Lohr, Seven Oaks cabernet, finally a ozzie one-jacob`s creek.

As for the Yashica, is my most used lens detronating the Planar 50/1.4.

LUSCIOUS!

curious at thoughts behind your choice of aperture?

Thanks again guys!

Klaus@ what I see on my screen ( Lacie 320) is what I get when printed. And I printed in Montreal, Toronto, US both paper and canvas.
Highlights look ok to me, natural light, more difficult to handle than strobes ( I was too lazy to set them up Rolling Eyes )

rbelyell @ it's a f# rarely used, never hand held. Now is the first time I'm using it with this lens and I'm very pleased with the result. I wanted to compare it ( read sharpness, dof, light diffraction) with the smaller ones and given the results it's a very usable aperture.
No sharpening has been applied to those pictures.
It's a lens that I strongly recommend to our members, of course, if you are able to get one.
I sold my 1:1 macro lenses and I kept this one 1:2.
I'll put up later few more pictures to see it in portrait mode.

Nope, it's not for sale.
I think that I sell Planar 50/1.4 because it doesn't get to much use, but I keep this one.

Very well done. Very Happy
I like Saumon fumé very much.
Here in Boulogne sur Mer, this is one of the local spécialties. This is the french first fishermen harbour and a lot of saumon fumé is prepared in many indsutrial firms.

rbelyell@ Well, then I misunderstood you.
