I hope you don't get bored from me showing this Opton sonnar as time goes by
Here today I felt a bit better so went out to the yard with 40D and some sonnars for a quick comparison

Opton 4/135 Contax rangefinder lens
Contax 2.8/135 AEJ

The shots are really so close. I think the old RF is sharper open than the newer is stopped to f4.
I bracketed the focus in case you wondered
I'm truly impressed once again with this lens
Now I feel like I really stole it

The Opton looks amazing.

Very sharp and I love the colour you got in the flower.

Looks better then the second one with the Contax.

Yes we all agree
sometime I will do a better trial and post it high res. The raw files are beautiful here they get smashed by Jpeg

I did not convert it.
I just held it in front of the lens mount and used "foot focus" Laughing

I will not try and convert it either it would be a sin
I have an RF to shoot it on and soon a digital one

RF must be blame all DSLR I can't wait to see it.
