Sweet!
Now I can get some extra batteries for my rd1.
The original one have not been available and copies are crap.
Much lower new cost with this latest model.

You know this price is actually 1/3 lower than the original model if, it holds true.
There are some sample images up on a Japanese site. I did not link them as it is a small "Flash" style gallery.
The old image engine is quite good. I imagine the new one will only be faster.
Searching prices for used R D1(s) on ebay completed listings $1200 seems the norm now.
So expect some used ones coming under 1000USD. Could be interesting for some guys here.
I love my RD1. It is my most shot camera since it arrived (Thanks Again Klaus!).
