Autofocus doesn't always work, in fact sometimes not much at all.
The client wanted that "long look" (oh boy). I used the widest lens I have, the Canon 10-22 at 13mm. I used live view on the 40D then manual focused on the model’s fingertips and set it to F11. I didn’t want it any smaller as the CoC starts fuzzing out at F16 on a 1.6 crop camera. Seemed to work.

Thanks Bill,
Oh yes. Shooting more this week. The fellow is an artist and can't really take the time to have models pose for hours on end so he has me shoot them for him.
He basically directs the shoot, (then I interpret what he says)
I get to play with the shots, he he

Guess it's a matter of what the client wants.
Jules, you have more of these? |
