One pro store here has a body that hasn't been sold but been in the shop for demonstration purposes - that is the body is new.

They are asking for 3500 € which is kind of too much.
What do you think one could pay for it?

Considering you can get a used Canon EOS 5D at about 1100-1200 € (maybe even less when the new model will be released in a couple of months), I think that old cumbersome camera could worth about 500-600 €, I wouldn't pay it more (actually I wouldn't even pay that sum, I'd just wait to have 1000 € to buy the Canon).

I agree, far too high a price.

This price is ridiculous, but typical for those shops. They often think they can sell really old equipment for the original prices...

It's not actually a very good camera. Even the cheapest budget models do as well these days.

True, but it's got a full frame chip.

The 5d has a better one and it's becoming cheaper and cheaper these days.

I agree with Allesandro fully on this one. Take a pass on this model unless it is dirt cheap. It is not worth the bother just to get full frame. Better to buy a film camera in every lens mount you own for less money than this Kodak relic. Wink
