I'll probably rework these, but here's some from the second roll. I used a
hood that has no vignetting when used with the Oly e300, but oopsydaisy,
does with FF 35mm film camera. Mad

Reala 100 film. (Redid the levels on some of these)

Thanks, Andy, hope you still like them, I reworked all of these in Bibble. The
color is spot-on as I remember it. The LR version I have...let's just say
pirated version, doesn't keep color after leaving its program, very strange.
If I open the file in Irfanview, the colors are faded, not the same view as
when it was in LR at all. I think I'm down to using this LR for just B&W stuff.

As to the lens, luv it! Smile

Now Poilu, just because you have the real thing, the Distagons, is no
reason to oppress those that don't! Laughing

Thanks for your comments.

Nice work Bill. What a beautiful place. The last shot I really like.

Like Andy asked, how do you get such a beautiful place to yourself?

Andy and Ron, you have to be willing to get a little wet during a thunder
and rain storm, but worth it! This is on a weekday, too, so very few people
around. I think the lightning scared what few others were in the park away.

Well, can anybody tell me what I may have overlooked in these two pics?

The hood was just fine on my 2x crop Oly! LOL

I guess it's hard to find a hood that shows vignetting on a 4/3 cam. Laughing

Very nice shots, again!

I wonder if a pedal type hood would do that?

Thanks, Carsten!

Ron, dunno, probably not as bad, tho, the hood I was using had a pretty
good flared-out opening, but obviously not enough for FF.

Attila, thanks! I'm still learning how to process these scans. The very last
one I got greedy in PP and lost detail in the back roof screen (sunscreen)
by beaming up the exposure and using too much fill light. Here it is straight
from the scan, no PP except USM and sharpening in resize:

The lighting and colors are quite accurate in this. The sun was still punching
its way through parting clouds and wasn't out in full force yet.

I know this is an exercise in turdpolishing, but I kind of like how this came
out in LR using a custom mix for the BW conversion:

I had a CPL for the lens with me, shoulda used it.

Thanks, Ron, too kind. I hope to have some shots from my Yashica Electro
35 GT soon, so don't put away the eyedrops. Wink
