I'm probably boring some of you now with all the floral shots - but if ya got the models why not take the shots Smile (These were taken at the end of June)

As always these shots are with my trusty Minolta X70 and unless other wise noted are shot with my Tamron CF TeleMacro zoom 80-210 f1:3.8 . . .

One of the flowers Lana likes are the Columbines ( genus Aquilegia ) . . .

2:

1&2 are the same flowers, just from a different angle.

3:

This is a red variety - which I like better than the pink ones.

4:

This is considered a wild variety of columbine

Iris ( I beleive variety called champagne)

Close up of blooms on a Deutzia (variety - Pink-aboo)

A spray of Wiegelia blossoms

Close up of a rose
Taken with my Tokina SD 70-210 mm f:4-5.6 with 1x achromatic closeup lens

Close up of Delphinium blooms
Taken with my Tokina SD 70-210 mm f:4-5.6 with 1x achromatic closeup lens

There will be more coming later,
Jim

You must put a lot of time in the garden. Nice variety.

My wife puts in the most time with weeding, dividing and transplanting. I'm the muscle (carrying bought plants, digging holes . . .), I do the soil ammendments, grass cutting and some artistic input.

It also helps that we've been having a record June and July for rain in Ontario.

Its a blessing to have a space like this easily accessible.

Thanks,
Jim
