Wanted to share a few photos from the fish show I was at last week. Be warned they were taken with an AF lens. The ONLY reason I had to use AF was there were not tops on the tanks and I had to hold my remote flash over the open water. I tried to set focus and then rock back and forth to get it just right, but the fish would always move. I tried for 20 minutes to use my MF lenses one handed, must have been funny to look at Very Happy

Very nice shots Mike. Helps to have clean tanks and water.

I'm getting ready to get some fish shots also.

very nice Mike with superb composition, I have the impression that the lightning is even better than the samples I have seen from you in the past

Thank you.

Most of the fish stayed at the bottom of the tanks, so once I figured out the best power setting for the flash, I was able to click away.

I have been scouring the other forums with threads about the show, to see if anyone photographed me trying to manual focus. No luck yet. I have however found myself in several photos. Damn street photographers, never even asked permission Wink Very Happy
