I've bought things from Cupog before (Sonnar 180, Vega 12B, Vega 28B, Pentacon 50, Agfa Isolette). He has ALWAYS been GREAT!

I'm really interested to see what that 40mm does.

That's good news Larry, thanks.

Regarding the Vega12B, I have one too (not from Cupog) and although it's very sharp, it often suffers from flare and most shots lack contrast. Wide open it glows badly and is extremely soft indeed. I'm wondering if this is a characteristic of this lens or whether mine has a fault and, if so, is there anything I can do about it. I don't have a hood that fits this lens. Here's a typical example at f8, the sky was cloudy but fairly bright. How does yours compare?

I bought several stuff from Cupog, Pentacon Six TL, Sonnar 180, Biometar 120, extension tubes, and I always been very satisfied. Shipment has been made through international couriers in a very short time. Reccomended.

I have the same Trioplan 2.8/100 Attila. Cool

It's chromed brass and is heavier than the alu - it also has a smaller front filter thread.

I saw Helioplan from Alessandro I think I will really love it, another lens is a question to me because I have no experience with that. I guess I will love it also. Trioplan is a pre-war SLR lens I have to keep it for my kids Wink
