I have a zeiss flek 35mm m42 that won't infinite focus on my nikon mount fuji s5. I am wondering whether an exacta mount one (much cheaper) with an exacta to nikon adapter from ebay, would work including infiniti focus.

I would like to use the flek as my main lens so I am willing to go work at it. Don't want to use an adapter with glass.

Not available.Nikon has one of the longest register distance from all 35mm cameras. Hard to put on any 35mm lens with infinity.

Ditto, seems unlikely.

Exakta register is actually shorter than M42, and the Exakta lenses I have been testing for a home-made Exakta-M42 converter don't focus to infinity unless the helical can be adjusted to screw in further. This may sometimes be possible with tele lenses.

Wide-angles and 50mm seem like hopeless cases.

Is there an Exakta - Nikon adapter ? I've never heard of one. If such a thing exists I want it.

I also made one at home from an M42 Nikon adapter+ Exakta body mount I glued them. It has no infinity but works fine with tele lenses without infinity.

Since I saw my Schneider fall off my T-mount adapter I would be too scared of a glued adapter.

I'm working on something sturdy - an M42 sleeve that goes over the 38mm diameter Exakta mount, and engages the Exakta bayonet.

If you have small drill you can use screws for sure. I also dropped down at first time with glued adapter a Meyer lens I was very angry to my self. From this accident I always keep lens in my hand instead of camera , because camera always hanging on my neck.
