Hi all,

I’m attempting to repair my first lens, a Canon FL 135mm 1:3.5 and I've made a stupid mistake. I’ve tried finding images / videos of people repairing a similar part but I’m struggling to find anything. Would anyone be able to help?

The part of the lens shown in the photos houses the aperture ring. The gap circled in yellow used to have a screw in there. I removed the screw and twisted the body, thinking the outer casing could be removed. However, the outer casing is now stuck.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Or does anyone know if this casing can be removed?
