Saturation is a bit high and un-natural looking in the first two frames.
Did you saturate in p/p?
The last frame is a lot more realistic.

Personally, from my limited use of nikkor 28's, the 3.5 has the better rendering, and a slight edge in sharpness, but that's just me and the lenses I've been through.

Yes, I always shoot in RAW, and I always process my shots. Sometimes you want to be brighter than in life, which sometimes seems grey and dull. ))) I've never owned a 28/3.5, so I can't say anything.
