I happened on this unusual find in my lens feed. I had to buy it. Previously the only AKA mount Staeble lens I had seen was the Telon 85mm. This example looks brand new. I have a copy in the much more common Paxette mount. The Lineogon is remarkably good for a 35mm from the late 50's in my opinion. _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |

Included a lens cap from Staeble. I had never seen a lens cap with their name on it. _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |

*lowish, since I had absolutely no comparators, so market price is a total guess. I paid less than dinner for 2 at a fine dining restaurant though... _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |

At least we tried
Joking aside - I'm VERY happy that we still have a handful of good old school photo stores here in Switzerland, and and I try do my best to keep them running

Phil, I agree it is a very nice lens from (generally) a very good optical provider. I find it better than the similar FL, the Choro, of the other FL's such as the Kata is also quite good. I believe that Novoflex labelled Staeble lenses for many of their macro offerings, i have the 60mm for bellows. They are quite good I think. The Telon 85 is an outlier in their offerings and is just mediocre to quite bad based on what copy you got. The telexons, both 85 and 135 are pretty good. _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |
