I haven't really had the time or the weather to do any proper testing, but I thought it was still worth posting a few sample shots simply because there doesn't seem to be much information available about this lens. I guess its big brother the f1.2 Speedmaster gets all the attention. These are all taken using my GFX50SII and they have been edited a bit or a bit more, so they should not be considered SOOC.

The first one is at f4 with a bit of fill flash, exposure pumped up for the face. This is the full GFX sensor, scaled down obviously.

Here's a cropped portion at 100%. Yes, it's sharp.

This is a full sensor landscape shot at f8 showing the vignetting, which is at it's worst using these settings (infinity-ish, small aperture).

Here's a parking meter on the street at f2 to give some idea of the bokeh. I think it's very nice, and similar to the other ZY lenses I've tried.

The sharpness is certainly there, but the rendering and color seem awfully "meh" to my eyes. Other examples around the web seem to bear this out as well. Kinda surprising, since the f/2.8 macro version seems to produce some very lively images.

Wow, what a neat in portrait crop! That is a rare case when advertisement (of GFX cameras) says truth about texture reproduction.

Thanks. Yes, the lens is plenty sharp, that's for sure.

Personally I like the colors as well. That might be difficult to perceive in these shots though: everything is grey and brown around here at the moment. In a few weeks I should be able to find more natural color to shoot.

In size and weight the lens is very similar to the awesome AiS Nikkor 85 2, and it has the same minimum focus distance of 0.85m but more aperture blades. That's why I decided to give it a shot.
