Last night the weather hit with freezing rain and snow. Horrible for many things (heating bills, travel, electric companies, the last one we had knocked our power out for 5 days!) but as the saying goes "its an ill wind..." they are kinda photogenic.
I decided, since I love alliteration, to dig out my best copy of the Schneider Isogon 40mm 4.5. This one is Exakta mount and has pretty clear glass, some bits of possible fungus on one the edges of an interior lens of the rear group, though I suspect minimal impact in most situations. A remarkably heavy bit of brightly chromed brass and glass. _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |

Big storm the length of California, Oregon, & Washington -- rain in the south freezing rain in the north. Over one foot of rain here. Friends in Washington had to use electric hair dryer to thaw open the doors -- house was encased in ice!
