I was given a Russian ZORKI with 50mm f2 Jupiter BUT the Film Take-up Spool is Stuck Inside and I cannot get it out to load a film -- I tried a small amount of Oil Lubrication with Syringe and Needle but it is still stuck - any IDEAS other that get Camera taken apart at Great Expense ?

Is it a Zorki, or a FED?

Image search brings up an identical camera listed as FED.
The Butkus page may have a manual for it if you can provide the identification of the camera.

Otherwise, good luck with it.

I don't think the take up spool comes out Pete, only the loaded spool is removable. My Zorki 4K is loaded at the moment, but my FED3 isn't - and that looks remarkably like your camera, and has a fixed take up spool. Again 'I think' the removable back, not hinged back, cameras are fixed spool. But I might be wrong. Rolling Eyes

I also think they roll the other way to most Japanese / European cameras - the tail of the film goes to the left of the spool .
