My Pentax 110 70mm works pretty well, although it does bloom on intense highlights. Not sure if that is because of this damage or the lens coatings are simply not that good to begin with.
Anyhow, I noticed this strangely regular pattern on the rear element, which is reported to be a cemented doublet (the only available diagram online suggests otherwise but a user who opened the lens for cleaning claims it's a doublet). From my understanding this is probably not fungus as it is too regular. What could it be?

There is no cemented doublet on the rear.

I am aware of that diagram, but this guy opened it and claims that it is a doublet.. I am also not sure where the diagram on Pentax forums came from, no other reference can be found http://photographeronbudget.blogspot.com/2013/12/cleaning-rear-element-on-pentax-110.html |

Welcome h1psta
Looks like fungus to me. Should be easy to clean. Remove the rear element. Wash using pure soap & water. _________________ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ like attracts like! ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮

I can't see a cemented element from the photo or I don't know how to see it. You can check if there is a weak internal reflection on the rear element. A cemented element will have a a weak internal reflection but a single element will not. _________________ https://lensfever.com/

Looks like a group to me too. Maybe not a group. Shining light should reveal if haze/fungus is on a cemented surface within a group, or on the inner surface of a single element. The latter may be cleanable. _________________ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ like attracts like! ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮
