I can't wait to get out more with this lens. Looks to be super sharp with plenty of character, just what I'm looking for!

I played around a bit more with this lens today at work. Looks like the 3D pop was working this morning in the harsh conditions!

I saw this lens sitting on my shelf the other week and remembered that I really like it! I have been playing around with it the past few weeks. IMO this lens is really sharp and has great colors on my Sony FF. So far this lens is the closest to the "3D pop" that I keep hearing about has that I own.
I understand Mamiya made lenses mostly for medium format cameras, but what else is available in the M42 mount? I would love to give more of these lenses a try!

Yes, this is an excellent lens. The Auto Mamiya / Sekor 50mm f/2 is also very nice. Mamiya 58mm f/1.7 still on my wish list but unfortunately rare and expensive. |

I haven't used any M42 Mamiyas enough to recommend, but here are some websites with Mamiya lens information:

You mean the 1.7/58 for the early bayonet Mamiya SLRs?

Or the SX 1.7/85mm, which is M42?
