Hi !

I just bought a perfect shape Miranda EC 50mm 1.8.
And a Fotodiox Pro Miranda Sony E adapter.

I can't mount the lens ... never happened to me with any manual lens on any adapter.

YES i aligned the red dot with the red triangle.
BUT the adapter never fit flush : there is a little gap and it gets sightly slanted.

So the bayonet blades can't "cross".

I seen other ppl on Amazon getting this trouble ... but most ppl don't complain.
I don't understand WHY only some ppl get this trouble.

May be because MOST ppl use only the screw M44 part of the dual mount ?

You may be correct.

A thought, som adapters have bendable parts which serve to tighten the connection.

A photo might get more input.

Hi !

I received a "test" adapter from Fotodiox.
And it works perfectly !

I don't see any major difference between adapters, apart some kind of "grinding" on the edge of bayonet petals.
They probably "reshaped" their petals on recent batches.

Nice lens BTW Like 1 small
