I just recently dug that one up from a rather cheap "job lot of vintage lenses" purchase some 18 months ago. Most of the lenses in that lot had a flaw, and from the test images I took so far I suspect some misalignment that makes edges and corners a bit too blurry, compared to what aidaho shows in his review.

Anyway, I imagine the people at Tokina back then must have had some fun in making miniscule exterior design adjustments. Wink
