well, i really shouldnt post these as the first taken with my newly acquired 5d because they are not so great, but i literally had this lens boxed up to send back to the seller because the results on my sd14 were horrible. the lens is a sigma 21-35mm 3.5-4.0, and since it was the only one i had at that focal length i thought why not try it out on this camera and see wassup. results, not the greatest, but in reality one of the most pleasant surprises. Smile PLEASE CLICK ON EACH PHOTO FOR BEST RESOLUTION. as always, criticism/feedback welcome!

I like the last one the most as it is the most contrasty and saturated.

thanks martin, the last one was definitely the best--i actually really like that one a lot. frankly, when used on my sd14 i thought the lens had something wrong with it as pix were like through a haze. while not the best, for this focal length zoom, and how cheap it was, i really like the results. have a great christmas/new year and thanks for comment!

nice series, good to know you do well with the 5D
with the 5DII all my lenses are good, the difference with the crop 40D is shocking
Merry Christmas!

thanks poilu! yeah, youre right, the ff makes such a difference. i just took out my viv 17-28mm out today (am having problems w fd/ef adapter and aperture settings) but the 17mm actually BEING 17mm and not 28mm is fantastic!
happy holidays to you and your family.
