Benoist Berthiot Super Star 2 MC 210mm (f3.2)

A massive metal enlarger lens, a latest iteration with multicoating. Following the barrel diameter, it must be destined to professional Simda and Kodak Carousel projectors and belongs to Benoist Berthiot family which is pretty large. Mentions easily found in the internet list lenses from 90mm to 300mm, including projector zooms.

The aperture is not indicated on the lens barrel. Compared to a "normal" MF lens in A mode, i.e. basing on automatic shutter speed indication, the Benoist Berthiot aperture must be f3 or f3.2.

For a quick test in a rainy day the lens was put on Sony Nex with help of a sanitaryware PVC tube. The glass tends to magenta and gives CA which are easily corrected in PP. Autocontrast was applied to all the following shots.
