I've taken all the screws I can see off but not sure how it comes apart from there.

I think on this model you lift off the bayonet flange (held in by the screws you removed), and there are screws securing the rest of the mount hidden underneath.

Why would you do that? What's wrong with it?
Now, while you're at it, it should come out pretty easily. The rear end that is.
Try to wiggle it a bit.
