I bought a cheap Kodak 620 6x9 folder with Angenieux Anastigmat 100 mm f:4.5 lens.
I believe, that this uncoated lens is a 4-element Tessar formula.

Because it seemed to be easy to remove the lens, I decided to try it on my Nikon mirrorless.

Unscreving the locking ring with O-ring pliers was easy. I drilled a 30 mm hole on an old lens back cap and attached the lens to it with the locking ring. Then I glued the cap to a M42-Nikon F adapter ring with epoxy.

I used a M42-to Nikon Z adapter, a 42mm – 52 mm focusing helicoid, and bits from Nikon K-ring set.

Unfortunately, the shutter doesn´t have a T setting, so I have to use B, and keep the lens shutter lever down with a rubber band.

With these parts the lens focuses a bit past infinity. The minimum focusing distance is originally 1,75 m (front cell focusing), using both the helicoid and front cell, now the MFD is about 1 m.

Some samples

Wide open at f/4,5

Wide open 100 % crop. The center sharpness is acceptable, contrast is low. The corners are very weak.

100 % crop at f/5,6. The sharpness and contrast are a little better. The corners are still weak.

100 % crop at f/8. The sharpness and contrast a liitle better still. The corners are better, but not much.

Thanks for sharing.

There isn't much to expect from such experiments other than some "artistic" effects.

I remember when I was a child, many people used such cameras to make only 6X9 contact copies in B&W only. This was also my start.
Rather big enlargements have been the exception; therefore the lenses on this rather low end cameras are not really state of the art, but more than good enough these times for 6x9 negatives.
