Interesting because Nikon mount is Nikon mount. I have read somewhere above D50 easily to damage some kind of lever with older lenses. _________________ -------------------------------

Yes, as far as i know, any mount "pre AI" wont work on Nikon D300..especially Nikon F-Mount is dangerous and can damage the cam _________________ some light-painting lens stuff..
