I have read one post at the link in the other topic saying that there is a big difference between the 6 and 7 element Xenars with the 7 being the better rendering lens. Does anyone on the forum have experience with both?

The Xenar S have 5 elements while the plane xenar only 4.

I only have a Paxette Xenar 50mm f/2.8, don't know how many elements it has.

4 elements in 3 groups. Classic Tessar design.

Pretty sure this has a 5/4 xenar in it but the price is silly.

Yeah, I looked at the site he has a crazy amount of RARE and or MINT products at ridiculous prices. Biotar 58 for $285 oooohkaaayy.
