Again Minolta MD was initial mount. All removed, direct aparture ring and lever connection established. M42 mount from another lens inserted. Lens goes over infinity - i could correct that phisically but i left it there for potential Nikon usage. On Canon you only have to use macro mode a bit to move all sistem foward.

Remark: though lens seemed very good at firs glance, nearly every element needed to be cleaned from grease condensation. First shots only to give impression of impression Smile. Separated macro ring is a cool thing.

Hi there from my daughter.

What a great effort to clean AND convert that old lens! Results are interesting, that busy bokeh can be put to good use Smile

Thanks!

Bellow showing difference between lens wide-open and close few steps. I like this kind of softness. The bronze statue is Alma Karlin.

One of these just arrived at my place, in not quite as good a condition as your copy. At 2.8 and infinity, my copy seems unusable. The only redeeming feature I can find is an affinity for bubble bokeh in some situations. I had to clean several elements, perhaps the reassembly was not 100% correct...
