Carl Zeiss Loxia Distagon 21mm F2.8 on A7R II

Borrowed this lens from my friend. It is another Loxia he own together with the Loxia 35 http://forum.mflenses.com/carl-zeiss-loxia-biogon-35mm-f2-0-on-a7r-ii-t81099.html .

The sharpness at F2.8 is excellent in most part of the frame. I don't think you will need to stop down more than F4 to get sharper photos. Contrast and flare resistant is excellent as expected from the relative high price. As more Sony users are switching to the faster 20G, the price of a used copy drops to ~$600. This makes this lens is a good choice if you prefer a manual focus workhorse.

For the day photos, I use F5.6 to F8. For the night photos, F2.8 to F4 is used. Please refer to the EXIF on the photos for the exact aperture setting. Some basic adjustments has been made in the post without any contrast adjustment.
