The lens in its rear part has a free threaded section 3.5 mm long. A brass ring with two threads, a macro ring and a helicoid allowed the lens to be attached to the camera. In this case, the helicoid focuses the lens in the range from 56.5 cm to infinity. Its extension is only 5 mm. With a large stretch helicoid and a set of macro rings, the lens will work in macro mode.

As I have seen, the lens is not afraid of an intense light source from the front or side. This is probably due to the simplicity of the optical scheme and low aperture. There is no need to put an anti-sun lens hood on the lens. |
Probably due to recessed front element -- lens body acts like hood to shade front element from intense light source. _________________ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ like attracts like! ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮

I have defined the working properties of this lens as corresponding to the word "standard". I see good sharpness and good contrast. Several RAW files were converted to TIFF and then combined into one in a program called ZereneStacker.
Image 2 - flash, tripod, no increase in sharpness during post-processing.
